The mission of the chapter is to “Promote, Support and Provide Service to Prairie View A&M University“.
The Dallas Alumni Chapter was formed in the 1970’s.
The Dallas Chapter sponsors 2 major events annually. The Annual Scholarship Gala which in its 22 year history has raised more than $700,000 in scholarship funds and support building funds for our new sports complex. The Annual Christmas Party benefits the Clever Dean Lewis Scholarship Fund , named for our past president. More than $200,000 in scholarships have been awarded to Dallas area graduating seniors accepted to Prairie View A&M University for their freshman year of college
